The Danbury Reporter April 9, 1924
Mrs. E.W. Culler, formerly of Pinnacle, Stokes County, the mother of Mrs. Dr. 
J.S. Slate, of Winston-Salem, died Friday as a result of burns received a few 
days prior to that date when her clothing accidentally took fire. Mrs. Culler 
made her home with Mrs. Slate in Winston-Salem.
