STOKES COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Lucille Baker Kirby, 24 Apr 2005 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- KING - Lucille Baker Kirby, 85, died Sunday, April 24, 2005. Born in Bakersville, she was the daughter of the late George and Eleanor Teague Baker, and wife of the late Ishmael Worth King, MD. She taught elementary school for many years, then worked alongside her husband in his medical practice. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of King. Survivors include two sons, Charles Worth Kirby of Northville, MI, and Dr. Samuel C. Kirby of High Point; a daughter, Jane Raines of Conyers, GA; a sister, Louise Ferguson of Bakersville; and seven grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery.
