“Asleep In Jesus”

In the 1880 Census for Stokes Co., NC, Yadkin Township are found John and 
Charity, plus their remaining children Mary A. 40, and Wade H. 24, daughter-in-
law (of unknown son) Mary A. 40, and grandchildren James J. 18, and Nathaniel 
S. 15. See the image of memorial to John and Charity Ferguson Boyles, along 
with the names of the six sons they lost during the Civil War.
