Wife Elizabeth to have £50 bond due to Justam KNOTT of Guilford & homeplace; daughter Mary Ann Fair to have £3.10 for a cow when she marries; son John FAIR is to have 5 shillings sterling; granddaughters Dorothy and Abie (daughters of John FAIR and wife Abie) are to have £25 in notes from Francis BROCK; also cited sons Barnabas & Michael and daughters Barbara, Margrate (Margaret), Dorothy. Executors: sons Barnabas FAIR and Michael FAIR. Witness: A. (Andrew) ROBINSON, William HOLBROOK.....Certification: Stokes County Court, November 1787 Term, Last Will and Testment proven by oath of A. Johann Bernhard "Barnabus" Fehr/Fair's 1st wife was Dorothy Magasch. The Elizabeth Fair cited in Johann's Will was his 2nd wife and widow of Phillip WAGGONER. Daughter Margaret Fair married William Lowe in Surry Co., NC. 5-21-1778 ( "A History of Kentucky Baptists, From 1769 to 1888, by J. H. Spencer, 1886, Rprinted by Church History and Archives, 1976, Lafayette, TN."). Note 4.) John Fair/Fare thought to have married Alice Endsley/Ensley in Surry Co., NC. abt. 1779. Note 5.) Michael Fair/Fare, Sr. 1st wife Elizabeth McKillip (verified in Will of Elizabeth's father Hugh McKillip in Stokes Co., NC., 1802 Apr. 6, Stokes Co., NC. Wills and Deeds, Vol II, pg. 30). Michael Fair/Fare, Sr.'s 2nd wife Mary Ann Guinn (verified in Will of Mary's father Almand Guinn in Stokes Co., NC., 1800 Sept. 13, Stokes Co., NC. Wills Vol. I). Note 6.) Barnabas Fair/Fare, II married Catherine Waggoner in Surry Co., NC. bet. 1782 - 1784. Catherine Waggoner was daughter of Barnabas Fair, II's step-mother Elizabeth and her first husband Phillip Waggoner. Note 7.)
