Know all men by these presents that William Walker
is held and firmly bound unto [?] Governor and his successors in office in 
the sum of fifty dollars, current money, to be paid to the said {Governor} or 
his successors, to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly and severally, 
firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 15 day of 
December--Anno Domini 18 [?].

The above documents are followed by "The Condition of This Obligation 
Statement," which is signed by William Walker and [Thau Marryss?}.
