Wall being of sound mind and memory and realizing the uncertainty of life make this my last will and testament revoking all others. First That my executors have my body decently buried and have a decent tomb erected to my grave. I will that Vilena Gibson have two small feather beds and one stead at W. G. Slates also chest & trunk & small table at W. G. Slates also that Vilena Gibson keep my cow and pay to the children of L. J. Slate Eighteen Dollars. That, Nannie Johnson have a feather bed and stead & folding table at W. _ . Slates That, AliceTuttle have a feather bed and stead & Bureau & trunk at J. Walter Tuttles That, J.W. Slate & W.C. Slate have one figured counterpence, bed quilt each The remainders of any bed clothes and wearing clothes be divided between Vilena Gibson, Nannie Johnson and Alice Tuttle I will that John L. Wall have one dollar and what he has already had That- Nannie Weisuer have Ten dollars and one book (Bible Looking Glass) I will that after any burial expenses be paid all my money together with My notes with the eighteen dollars from Vilena Gibson be equally divided between J. W. Slate, Vilena Gibson, Nannie Johnson and Alice Tuttle I hereby appoint Wesley C. Decíd } application A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy W. Wall decíd, is exhibited in open court by Dr. W.C. Slate, the executor therein mentioned,who makes application to have the same admitted to probate as the last will and testament of the said Nancy W. Wall, and being _____ first duly affirmed, says that he is the executor named in said will, and as such is entitled to have the same admitted to probate and to Letters Testament upon said estate. That the value of said estate as near as the same can be ascertained at the date of this application, is about $350.00 avoid all personal property That the devisees under said will, who are entitled to said property, are as follows, to wit: Vilean Gibson, wife of J.M. Gibson Nannie Johnson, wife of W. J. Johnson, Alice(Parthenia) Tuttle, wife of J. Walter Tuttle Dr. J.W. Slate, W. C. Slate, and J. _ Wall all of full age and residents of Stokes County, NC. Wall is exhibited before me, the undersigned, Clerk of the Superior Court for said County Dr. W.C. Slate the executor there in mentioned and the dec;d execution thereof by the Nancy W. wall is proved by the oath and examination of Wallace Webster and the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn, doth depose and say for himself deposeth and saith that he is a subscribing witness to the said paper now shown here purporting to be the last will and testament of Nancy W. Wall that the said Nancy W. Wall in the presence of the deponet, subscribed at the end of said paper-writing, now shown as aforesaid, and which bears date the 27th day of April,1908. And the deponent further saith, That the said Nancy W. Wall the _______ did at the time of subscribing her name as aforesaid, declare the said paper subscribed by her and exhibited to be her last will and testament, and this deponent therefore subscribe his name at the end of said Will as an attesting witness and at the request and in the presence of the said estatrix And this deponent found that at the said time when the said testatux subscribed her name to the said last Will aforesaid and at the time of deponents subscribing his name as an attesting witness thereto as aforesaid the said Nancy W. Wall was of sound mind and memory of full_____ execute a will and was not under any restraint to the knowledge in______ of this deponent. Chilton, Clerk In Re Estate of Nancy W.Wall, deceased } Order for Probate of Will A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Nancy W. Wall is exhibited in open court for probate by Dr. W.C. Slate, Executor therein ___ the due execution thereof by the said Nancy W. Wall, dec'd is duly forever by the ______ examination if Wallace Webster and P.P.Bennett subscribing witnesses there to and further showed to the satisfaction of the court by said witnesses that he said ____ was, at the time of making said will of sound mind and memory, of full age to ___ and under no restraint to their knowledge information or belief It is therefore considered, adjudged and decreed that said proof is sufficient and according to law and that said paper writing is and contains the last Will and Testament of Nancy W. Wall, dec'd and on motion it is ordered that said Will be admitted to probate in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of said County. It is further adjudged that said Dr. W.C. Slate is a suitable person to act as Executor and of the duties imposed by said trust Dated this the 20th day of May 1908. M._. Chilton, Clerk of Superior Court Dr. W.C.
