Surry County, NC - John Frost - Act to Erect Dam

                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An Act to authorise John Frost, of Rowan county, to erect a dam across
Mitchell's river; in the county of Surry

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, 
and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That John Frost,
of Rowan county, be, and he is hereby authorised and empowered to
erect a dam scross the main channel of Mitchell's river, in the county
of Surry, for the purpose of building a public mill.

And be it further enacted, That all laws and clauses of laws, coming
within the meaning and purview of this act, be, and the same are
hereby repealed.
