JOHNSON, ALEXANDER LAWRENCE, et al (Kind of suit not given) It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, HARRIET TOMLINSON, HUGH BRYSON and his wife, MARY; CURTIS JOHNSON, WILLIAM JOHNSON, and the children of BAKER JOHNSON, deceased, to wit: WILLIAM JOHNSON, CURTIS JOHNSON, JOHN JOHNSON and CASSANDRA JOHNSON, who intermarried with BENJAMIN C. BOSWELL; also JOHN NELSON and his wife, MATILDA, are not inhabitants of this state: it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court to be held for the County of Surry in the Court House at Rockford on the 1th Monday in September 1850, then and there to plead, answer or demur to this issue, judgment will be taken pro confesso and the hearing held ex parte as to them.
