SURRY   COUNTY             August Term , 1846

Vs.

WILLIAM DAVIS, Administrator , and HUGH GWYN 

Original Bill in Equity

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants, EDWARD 
McCRAW, STEPHEN BOGER and his wife, NANCY BOGER; DAVID COLLIER and his wife, 
ELIZABETH COLLIER; JOHN M. FLEMING, MARTHA and IREDELL DAVIS; MARY FLEMING, 
ABIGAIL FLEMING, SARAH FLEMING, JAMES FLEMING, ELBRIDGE FLEMING AND MOREDECAI 
FLEMING,are  not inhabitants of this state:  it is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a 
newspaper printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our 
next Court to be held for the County of Surry  in the Court House at Rockford  
on the 5th Monday after the 4th Monday in August, 1846 ,   then and there to 
plead, answer or demur to this issue, judgment will be taken pro confesso will 
be entered against them.
