It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the  defendant, WILLIAM 
EAST , 
is not an inhabitant of this state: it is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Patriot, a newspaper 
printed in Greensboro, that unless the said Defendants appear at our next 
Court to be held for the County of Surry  in the Court House at Rockford  on 
the 2nd Monday in August,   and  plead, answer, or demur to this petition, 
judgment will be granted against him and the property levied on.
Witness, FRANCIS K. ARMSTRONG, Clerk of said Court, at office , on the 2nd 
Monday in May, 1843.
