All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Anne Livingston kybullittanne@yahoo.com November 3, 2007, 11:15 pm Written: May 1805 NORTH CAROLINA SURRY COUNTY PROCESSIONER'S BOOK To the subscribers being appointed by the County of Surry May term 1805 to appear with the processioner to settle the disputed lines between William Moreland and Samuel Kerby after being duly sworn to do equal right and justice between the contending parties have proceeded to that business and do on oath say that beginning at the begining corner of said William Moreland's tract (being now a stake and pointers and runing North on the old line with the lands of William Thornton and Joseph William's three hundred and twenty poles to a small hickory, thence east on said disputed line as contended for by Samuel Kerby three hundred and twenty poles to a small white oak thence south three hundred and twenty poles on said Kerby's line and the lines of Jesse Poore to a poplar thence West on the lines of John Hicks, Joseph Williams and William Thornten three hundred and twenty poles to the beginning including six hundred and forty acres of land are the lines which we now established as the lines of the said William Moreland's land.
