Death of Elizabeth Gilmer

Miss A. Elizabeth Gilmer died at Mt. Airy Tuesday night at 11 o'clock. The 
deceased was the daughter of Mr. Robert Gilmer, now 90 years old and the only 
remaining member of the Gilmer family of his generation. His brothers, John A. 
Gilmer and Joseph Gilmer, all died several years ago.

Miss Gilmer was about 62 years of age. She spent her early and middle life in 
teaching, but of late years had devoted herself entirely to her aged father 
and mother. The latter died a few years ago.

The deceased was a first cousin of Mr. A.G. Brenizer and mrs. WS.J. Perry, of 
this city.
