WILLIAM ROYALL OF SURRY CO. NC p1825 (Son John Royall and gs of Henry Royall) In the name of God Amen, I William Roial of the county of Surry and state of North Carolina being weak in body; but of perfect mind and memory: Thanks be to Almighty God, calling to mind the mortally of my body and knowing that it appointed for all men once to die. Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament. Principally and first of all I give and recommend my sole unto the hands of Almighty God that gave it. And my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian like manner at the desecration of my friends and executor nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall reserve the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching said worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with - in this life. I give, devise, and dispose of the same in the following and form. 1. I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my executor. 2. I will unto my beloved wife Salley Roial (1775) all and singular my lands, tenements, goods, chattels, rights, and corbels, for her to have and to hold during her natural life. For her to have the management of said lands and affairs, and she, the said Salley Royal to have the benefits ensuing form said improvements. 3. I will that my son Henry Rial (1797) has it in his power to clear land from his spring south to the line then down the spring branch to the deep creek. 4. I will that at my beloved wife¹s death, all my land with their improvements, be divided in the flowering manner. The line to begin at the corner tree, a red oak near the mill dam, running south with Davis¹ mill road; then south to the back line to the atlas road; then south to the backline=the east of said track of land to go to my son Henry, the west side of said land to go to my son Lodowick (1807-1880+) for them the said sons to posses and hold during life. 5. I will the balance of my property what ever it my be, to be sold and equally divided amongst all my five daughters. 6. And I do I do constitute and appoint my trusty friend John Long and John Halson and my beloved wife and my beloved wife as my executors to this my last will and testament and utterly disallowing and revoking all and any other will or request made by me, weather in writing or verbal manner, ratifying this and no others to be my last Will and Testament. Hampton Joshua Harris                                                                      William Ryall Seal John Royal 1729-1810 will (Son of Henry Royall 1685-1746) In the name of God amen, I John Royal of Surry County and the state of North Carolina being weak in body but sound in memory, blessed by God. I do this twelfths day of January one thousand eight hundred and ten. I do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner and form following, that is to say that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid first. Item: I give unto my son John Royall c1755-1813GA one shilling sterling to him and his heirs for ever. Secondly: I lend unto my beloved wife Mary Royall for during her natural life one hundred acres of land lying in Rowan County in said state and all my household and kitchen furniture and all my stock of cattle, hogs, and after her death, it is to be equally divided a amongst my children, viz. Sarah Algood, Joseph Royall (c1770), Henry Royall d1828, and William Royall d1825. And lastly, I do constitute, make, and ordain my son Joseph Royal and my son- in-law William Allgood c1760 my whole executors of this my last will and testament utter by disallowing all former wills by me made in testimony where by I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written-----. NC. This John is a direct descendant of Joseph Royall the Immigrant. This John Royall had brothers named Francis, Joseph, and William and was the son of Henry Royall of Henrico Co. VA.] HENRY ROYALL OF SURRY CO. NC p1828 (Son John Royall and gs of Henry Royall) In the name of God Amen, I Henry Royal of the county of Surry and state of North Carolina being weak in body; but of sound mind and memory: Blessed be to God for the same- do this 31th day July 1828 make and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form followering, that is to say. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sally Royal (1801) the whole of my estate. Both real and perishable during her natural life. And after her decrease my will is that it is to be devided equally among my children - to wit- Christian (1822), William (1824), and John (1826)- and Caroline. I make and ordain my beloved wife Sally Royal executrix and my trusty friend Christen Weathermerry executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
