1770, 20 June. 175 acres on Bulloch's Creek surveyed for John Dickey. The 
following is a transcription of the original deed: 

George & John Dickey
Tyron, John Dickey, 175 A., Grant 41, 11 Dec. 1770, surveyed 20 June 1770, 
Book 20, p. 581 (on the waters of Bullochs Creek)
[Plat]
Surveyed for John Dickey one hundred & seventy five acres of Land in Tryon 
County on the Waters of Bulochs Cree[k] including the improvment he now lives 
on Begining at a white oak near handles line & Runs S° 36 Et 49 [drawing says 
94] po[les] to a white oak by Hugh Willson corner thence S° 75 Et 120 [poles] 
to a small Black Jack, thence So 28 Wt 120 po to a White Oak on Jamisons line 
thence his line N° 38 Wt 34 po to a white oak by his Comer thence with his 
other line, S° 59 Wt 120 po to a Black Oak then to the Beginning. June 20 1770.
