5 March 1772.  Several Pattersons involved in a land transfer.
		
James Patterson, Sarah Patterson, Thomas Patterson & Mary Patterson of Tryon 
Co., to John Patterson of same, for £180 proc. money ... land on S side 
Catawba River on both sides Allisons Creek, 326 acres, part of land conveyed 
by Andrew Allison to John McCulloh, 25 Jan. 1762, conveyed by McCulloh to 
George Patterson, 21 May 1769, and from George Patterson to sd. James 
Patterson & Thomas Patterson, and now to John Patterson ... Thomas Paterson 
(seal), James Patterson (seal), Mary Patterson (1) (seal), Sarah Patterson (x) 
(seal).  Wit:  Robert Donaldson, George Plemon.  Recorded July tern 1772.
