Both, of the County and State aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said John Davenport for and in Consideration of the sum of One Hundred Pounds Current money, to and in hand paid by Jesse Davenport the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge hath granted Bargained, Sold, -- and Confirmed, and by these presents, doth grant, Bargain, sell, -- and confirm, unto the said Jesse Davenport, his heirs and assigns forever, One messuage, piece, or parcel of Land, lying and being in the County of Tyrrel, on the ?west side of Scupperlong River. Beginning at an Holly at the east side of aforesaid Land, Thence running South, along a line of markd Trees to a Willow, then running westerly along a line of marked Trees upon the old Patent line, & Binding upon John Harisons line to an Elm, then Turning North Binding upon John Harisons line to an Oak Stump, then Binding upon Robert Davis's Line, Turning East, To the first Station. This Including One Hundred Acres of Land, be the same more or less. That Together with every Improvement and every other property unto the same belonging, or in any wise appertaining to the said messuage and land above mentioned, and also the right Title, Interest, Claim or demand of me the said John D. Davenport and to the said Land and premisses, and every Part Thereof, to have and to hold the said Tenement.
