SPRUILL of the aforesaid County and State being of sound mind but considering the uncertainty of my Earthly existence do make and declair this my last will and testament. FIRST. My Executors being after named shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all funeral expences together with my just debts contracted by me and me alone out of the first money coming in their hands belonging to my estate. SECOND. My executors will retain too be used sufficient funds too erect a suitable monument to my grave and that the same be executed as soon after my death as possible. THIRD. I give and devise to my beloved daughter A. May SPRUILL the tract or parcel of land or house and lot on the west side of Broad Street known as The Store lot bought by me of Mrs. Eliza J. PARISHER and paid for by me Annie E. SPRUILL and bounded as follows. Adjoining J.J. McCLEESE on South and West Hotell North Broad Street on East. I also give and bequeath to my daughter A. May SPRUILL all in her room belonging to me the suit of furniture in her room was give her by her father. I also give her the bed bedclothes and my suit belonging to my room also my set of China & Silver ware and Pianno. Also my other three children Jesse B. SPRUILL, William R. SPRUILL and Venie E. WOODLEY shall out of the proceeds of my estate shall pay A. May SPRUILL seventy five dollars from my estate. FOURTH. I give my four grandchildren Annie L. RALPH, Mable Ralph SPRUILL, Gady RALPH & William RALPH twenty five dollars to be divided between the four. FIFTH. I give and bequeath to my said beloved four children Jesse B. SPRUILL, William R. SPRUILL, A. May SPRUILL, and Venie E. WOODLEY my whole interest in the tract or parcel of land or house and lot situated on the East side of Broad Street and bounded by the lands Jesse COOPER, Sr., on South & East the County and THURSTON lots on the North and all other lands owned by me to have and to hold forever. SIXTH. I give and bequeath to my four beloved children Jesse B. SPRUILL, William R. SPRUILL, A. May SPRUILL, Venie E. WOODLEY all of my household and kitchen furniture of evry kind and nature except what I have given my daughter May and all mortgages and claims also my interest in the Ball bearing axel if it amounts to anything together with all other personal and real estate owned by me. SEVENTH. Its my last request that after the above provisions are complied with that all of my property both real and personal be equally divided between my said (4) four children Jesse B. SPRUILL, Will R. SPRUILL, A. May SPRUILL, and Venie E. WOODLEY that they may divide as they see fit between themselves. Executors to deduct from the proceeds of said property all the necessary expences and the usual commissions allowed by law. EIGHT. I hereby constitute and appoint my children T. H. WOODLEY and Venie, Jesse B. SPRUILL, William R. SPRUILL, and A. May SPRUILL my lawfull Executors too all intent and purpose to execute this my last will and testament. according too the true intent and memory of the same and evry part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declairing entirely ??? other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. SPRUILL, Deceased A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Annie E. SPRUILL deceased, and bearing date of November 10th 1911 is exhibited in Court by T.H. WOODLEY, one of the executors therein named for probate, and the execution thereof is proved by the oath and examination of Mrs. May Spruill MANN, B.D. MANN, and V.E. WOODLEY, three creditable witnesses as follows: Mrs. May Spruill MANN being duly sworn says that she is the daughter of Mrs. Annie E. SPRUILL the testatrix, known her hand writing well and has often seen her write that the paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of her said mother and testatrix and now propounded for probate is her last will and testament of her said deceased mother and was deposited by her with this affiant for safe keeping at the time that my said mother broke up housekeeping to leave Columbia. The name of Annie E. SPRUILL subscribed to said will and every part of said will is in the hand writing of the said Mrs. Annie E. SPRUILL MRS.
