James LONG, Sr.* 6 Jan 1787. I lend to my wife Rebeca my house and plantation where I now live with all my household goods & all my tools, all my cattle, sheep & hogs during her widowhood. After her death, to my 2 sons DANIEL & SIMON LONG my plantation where I now live. To my son JAMES LONG 1 shilling sterling. To my daughter ANNE JONES 1 shilling sterling. To my 2 sons JESSE & LEVI LONG all my Juniper Swamp land. In fact, this "James Long, Sr." is, the son and grandson of James Long's and it at very least James Long III. (and possibly the IV --- we do not know the name of the father of the first James.)
