She was the daughter of JOHN and MARTHA AIRS. JOHN AIRS, in his Tyrell will of 7 March 1776 mentions his wife, MARTHA, and names the following daughters: ANN ROGERS, SARAH ROGERS, MARY EPERSON, ELIZABETH CRAFT, ISABEL ROGERS, and HANNAH CLAGHON, who witnessed the will of her brother-in-law THOMAS ROGERS.
