FINCHER Cemetery located off Crane Road from New Town  Road south 
toward Waxhaw.

Fincher, J.E. who departed this life in the 29th year of his life

Fincher, John who was born January 28th, 1782 and died October 4th, 
1844

Fincher, Lydia wife of J. Fincher who departed this life on the 59th 
year of her age

Fincher, Nancy C. Died 1842

Fincher, S.A. who departed this life in the 33rd year of his life

Howey, David died Oct. 4, 1869 aged 73 years 

Howey, John who departed this life 8th March 1845 Aged 11 years 5 
months and 8 days

McIlwain, Permelia wife of A. McIlwain died 25th year of her life 1855

These are the only markers we found, although we believe there may be
others buried under leaves, branches, undergrowth, etc. The others 
listed in the Laney book which we did not find markers for are:

Fincher, Margaret age 22 years Wife of S.A. Fincher
Howard, Jacob O. 12/20/1809 12/14/1890
Howey, Eliza Age 46 years Wife of David Howey
Howey, Margaret died 1857 Age 5 years
