     STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA Union County  IN EQUITY

     DAVIS COLLINS and others
             vs.
     HENRY HELMS

     PETITION FOR SALE OF REAL ESTATE

     It appearing in this case to the satisfaction of the Court that  the 
defendant HENRY HELMS is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore 
ordered that publication be made for six weeks successive in the North 
Carolina "Argus" notifying the said defendant non-resident HENRY HELMS, to be 
and personally appear before His Honor the Judge of our next Court of Equity 
to be held for the County of Union at the Court House in Monroe, on the sixth 
Monday after the fourth Monday of September next, then and there to plead, 
answer or demur to the petition in this case filed, otherwise it will be set 
down for hearing and heard ex parte.
     Witness C. M. T. McCAULEY, Clerk & Master of our said Court at office in 
Monroe, the sixth Monday after the fourth Monday of March, in the 75th year of 
our Independence A. D. 1851.
