May 26, 1859 North Carolina Argus Written: April 1859 Recorded: May 26, 1859 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS UNION COUNTY April Term 1859 WILLIAM GRIFFIN, ADM'R of WILLIAM COLLINS, dec'd vs. PHILLIP COLLINS and GEORGE WASHINGTON COLLINS Petition to Subject Real Estate as Assets In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that PHILLIP COLLINS and GEORGE WASHINGTON COLLINS reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesborough, notifying said defendant non-residents to be and appear at ouor Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Union County at the Court House at Monroe on the first Monday in July next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed. Otherwise, judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be hear ex parte as to them. Witness J. F.
