July Term, 1843

MOSES HOUGH
    vs.
ISAAC LEWELLEN, JESSE LEWELLEN et al

Petition for Partition

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that ISAAC LEWELLEN, JESSE 
LEWELLEN, WILLIAM LEWELLIN, AMAN LEWELLEN, THOMAS BENNETT and wife, ELIZABETH, 
NATHANIEL BIVENS and wife, JEMIMA, and SARAH LEWELLEN are not residents of 
this State. It is therefore ordered that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying the said defendants to 
appear at our next term of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions for the 
County of Union to be held at the Court House at LABATT'S Cross Roads, on the 
first Monday in October next to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed, 
or judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as to 
them. Witness HUGH STEWART, Clerk of the said Court at office on the first 
Monday in July A. D., 1843.
