To WILLIAM OSBORNE, admr. of the Estate of JOHN ELLIOT, dec'd.
 
You will take notice that I am the owner of a certain Judgment which is 
docketed in the Superior Court for the County of Union in the State of North 
Carolina against your intestate JOHN ELLIOT and JOHN WALDEN for one hundred 
and fifty five dollars nineteen cents with interest of $155.19 from the 25th 
of January 1868 & cost of $19.05 and that the same is still due and unpaid.

To Wm. S. OSBORNE, admr. of the estate of JOHN ELLIOTT, dec'd. 
Sir, You are hereby notified that I am the owner of a certain Judgment in the 
Superior Court of Union County (transferred and assigned to me by plaintiff 
T.J. EZZELL) against your intestate JOHN ELLIOTT, dec'd and JOHN W. WALDEN for 
the sum of One hundred & fifty five 19/100 dollars with interest on the same 
from 27th January 1868 & $19.05 costs, all of which is still due and unpaid.
      You are therefore hereby notified that I shall move at the next Term of 
the Superior Court to be held for the County of Union at the Courthouse in 
Monroe on the 8th Monday after the 2nd Monday in February A.D. 1876 that you 
as administrator of said JOHN ELLIOTT be made a party defendant & you are 
therefore notified, so that you can attend & show cause, if any you can, why 
you should not be made defendant, as admr. of said JOHN ELLIOTT, dec'd, & why 
execution shall not issue against you as such.
