May 26, 1859 North Carolina Argus Written: April 1859 Recorded: May 26, 1859 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSIONS UNION COUNTY April Term 1859 JAMES MANGUM vs. AURELIOUS HILTON Original Attachment Levied on Land In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that AURELIOUS HILTON does not reside in this State, it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus, published at Wadesboro, notifying AURELIOUS HILTON, to be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Union at the Court House in Monroe, on the first Monday in July next, then and there to show cause, if any he has, why the land levied on shall not be sold and the proceeds of the sale applied to the plaintiff's debt, interest and costs.
