    VS.
ROBERT WALKER

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that ROBERT 
WALKER, is not a resident of this State, it is therefore ordered by the Court 
that publication be made for six successive weeks in the North Carolina Argus 
notifying said non-resident defendant to be and appeare at our next Court to 
be held for Union County at the Court House in Monroe on the first Monday in 
October next. Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed, 
otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter heard ex parte as 
to him. Witness J. E. HOUGH, Clerk of said Court at office in Monroe on the 
first Monday in July A. D. 1859.
