Charles Drye v. Nathan B. Jenkins

Original attachment - Levied on land and his interest in six negroes, viz: 
Temperance, Candis, Eliza, Jackson, Nelson & Jane

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant/defendants, Nathan B. Jenkins reside beyond the limits of this 
State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-
resident to be and Appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be 
held for Union County at the Court House at Monroe on the 1st Monday in April 
next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
final judgment will be entered against him and the lands and negroes levied on 
will be sold to satisfy the plaintiff's claims
Witness Hugh Stewart, Clerk of the said Court at office on the 1st Monday in 
January AD 1846
