Peter Parker, guardian of John, Henry, Norcott, Blackman and Margaret Williams 
and Joseph Williams and Joshua Williams
vs.
Nicholas Norcott, Hosea Norcott, William Norcott, Zachariah Norcott, John 
Stegall and wife Peggy, and Mary Jenkins

Petition for Partition of Real Estate

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that Nicholas 
Norcott, William Norcott, Zacariah Norcott, and Nancy Pearce, defendants are 
not inhabitants of this state:  It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear at our next Court of 
Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Union County at the Court House at 
Monroe on the 1st Monday in October next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to the petition of Peter Parker and 
others or the same heard ex parte and rendered accordingly will be made as to 
them.
Witness Hugh Stewart, Clerk of the said Court at office on the 4th Monday in 
July AD 1847
