STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA     COURT OF PLEAS & QUARTER SESSION    UNION COUNTY
July Term, 1859

MARY SECREST
   vs.
ABRAM J. SECREST, F. W. SECREST, SAMUEL T. SECREST, REUBEN TOMBERLIN and wife, 
DELILAH, JAMES M. HOWELL and wife, TABITHA, and J. LEMMOND

In This case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that CLARK 
LEMMOND, ROBERT McCOMBS and wife, MARGARET, EDMOND PATCH and wife, NANCY, and 
EVAN LANEY and wife, LEAH are not residents of this State. It is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
North Carolina Argus, published in Wadesboro, notifying the said non-resident, 
defendants to be and appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to 
be held for the County of Union at the Court House in Monroe on the first 
Monday in October next. Then and there to plead, answer or demlur to this 
petition filed. Otherwise judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter 
will be heard ex parte as to them. Witness, J. F. HOUGH, Clerk of the said 
Court at office in Monroe on the first Monday in July A.D. 1859.
