SWANNER TO EBENEZER MARSH (Recorded 1856, 16th Janr.) This indenture made the 29th day of Novr 1855 Between James M. Swaner of the county of Union and State of N.C. of the one part and Ebenezer Marsh of the County and State aforesaid of the other part - Witnesseth that the said James M. Swaner for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Ebenezer Marsh the receipt and payment where of is hereby acknowledged. Hath this day granted bargained sold and conveyed to the said Ebenezer Marsh three certain pieces or parcel of land included in one lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the Waters of Beaver Dam Creek lined and bound as follows (biz) "Beginning at hickory by 2 R.O. ...A. & five pointers James Lowry’s corner and runs with his line So ...in said line Jackson Trull’s corner thence with Trulls line So..in a line of the old hundred acre grant therewith Trulls other line...being the second of a seven acre grant then with its line...Ratcliff’s corner thence with Moore’s line ...by hickories Moores corner on the south side of Beaver Dam Creek then...to the beginning Containing one hundred and eighty acres be the same more of less and I the said James M. Swaner do for myself my heirs executors Admis and assigns warrant and forward forever the right and title unto the said Ebenezer Marsh his heirs Administrators & assigns free and clear of all incumbrances whatsoever and against the lawful claim or claims of all and every other person or persons in as ample a manner as the law can devise. In testimony whereof I the said James M. Swaner have here unto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written Signed sealed and delivered X [James M.
