SWANNER TO MILBRA ASHCRAFT (Recorded) 29th Decr 1855 This indenture made the 24th of January, one thousand eight hundred and fifty five Between James M. Swanner of the one part and Milbra Ashcraft of the other part both of the county of Union and State of North Carolina Witnessith that I the said James M Swanner for and in consideration hath given and deliver unto the said Milbra Ashcraft a lot and house so long as she lives or stays on the place at her death or removal the said lot and house to go back to the same peice of land. Also with privilege of a potato patch garden and well firewood and lightnrod. I the said James M Swanner warrants and defend the above privilege to Milbra Ashcraft so long as she lives or stays on the place.
