Civil War Service
From: American Civil War Soldiers
   Isaac Elliott of Union, North Carolina enlisted in Company I, 53rd Infantry 
North Carolina Troops on 30 April 1862. He was twenty-nine years old. He was 
killed on 10 May, 1864 at Spotsylvania Court House, Va. Isaac was the son of 
William (deceased)  and Sarah Elliott (according to  Union County Census and 
Tax Records).
