ELLIOTT, WILLIAM, CORP.  (B. 1838)
Born in Union county, where he resided as a farmer prior to enlisting at age 
24 March 15, 1862. Mustered in as Corp. Reported present in Sept-Oct. 1862. 
Wounded in arm at Fredericksburg, Va. 13 Dec. 1862. Returned to duty prior to 
March 1, 1863 Reported present or accounted for March - June 1863; March.- 
April 1864; and Sept. - Oct. 1864. Surrendered Appomattox Court House, Va. 
April 9, 1865.
