Thurs. Aug. 30, 1860 -  North Carolina Argus
   DIED, in Union County, on the 13th inst., after a protracted illness of 
nearly 12 months, MRS. MARTHA BENTON, wife of JAMES BENTON, ESQ., in the 63rd 
year of her age, leaving a husband, several children and many friends. She was 
a member of the Baptist Church for over 30 years.
