Sept. 18, 1846    Charlotte Journal
   DIED, on the 10th inst. of Congestive fever, MR. RICHARD COWSAR of Union 
County, aged about 55 years. He was, for many years, an exemplary member of 
the Methodist Episcopal Church. The deceased left three or four orphaned 
children and an extensive circle of relatives and friends.
