    Mr. J. Samuel Reader, a native of this county, died last Wednesday,
aged 75 years, having been born Nov. 11, 1849.  He was a brother of 
Messrs, B.C. and Thomas Reader of Monroe, of W.R. Reeder and L.G. 
Reeder of Hot Springs Ark., and Mrs. W.B. Ford of this county.  He was 
buried at Clear Creek Baptist Church, of which he was a member, 
Saturday afternoon.  His living children are Frank, Henry, Wriston, 
Thomas, and Lester Reeder, and Mrs. Helms and Mrs. Mullis.
