Died in Monroe

The Monroe Register received today says: Mr. Bessie Laney, wife of G.W. Laney 
of Monroe and daughter of Dr. Parks of Charlotte, died in Monroe yesterday 
morning at 8:30, just five years from the day of the month and week on which 
she was married. She had been a great sufferer for many months but bore it all 
with meek submission to God's will. She leaves a husband and one child.
