Thurs. May 3, 1860   North Carolina Argus
   DIED, in Union County, N. C., on the 28th of April, MR. PETER PARKER, at 
the advanced aged of near 90 years. He was a native of Hertford County, N. C. 
and emigrated and located in Anson (now Union) in his youth, where he raised a 
large family and was noted for honesty and industry. With the exception of 
loss of sign and pains, which have prevented him from being from home in 
several years, he enjoyed remarkable good health until the day before his 
death, and he has now gone to this grave like a shock of corn, full.
