Prominent Citizen of Monroe Dead

Mr. J.M. Stewart, a prominet citizen of Monroe died Thursday night after a 
very brief illness and was buried yesterday at 5:30 o'clock. Deceased leaves a 
wife and five or six children. He was known throughout Union as an excellent 
man, good citizen, kind husband and father.
