Judge VanBurin Griffin is the son of John Griffin and Louella Sells Griffin. He 
is the husband of Annie Louise Griffin and father of Sybil and Ricky Griffin of 
Wingate, N. C. He was born March 1, 1912 and died July of 1995. He was a 
veteran of World War II and stationed in North Africa.
