Burin Griffin served in the US Army stationed in N. Africa in World War II. He 
was originally from Wingate, N. C born in 1912 and died in 1995. He was the 
husband of Annie Louise Rushing Griffin and the father of Sybil Ann Griffin 
Shearin.
