Faulkner [deceased] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Third Member of Family Dies At 103 Henderson Daily Dispatch March 7,1989 Mrs Lillian Anna Bell Faulkner, 103, died Monday evening in a local nursing home. She was the third very elderly member of the Faulkner Family to die within a three week period: Her sister, Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Faulkner, 94, died Feb. 20, and a cousin, Mrs. Hettie Faulkner Faulkner who was also 103, died Feb. 14. And the three ladies had still another distinct and most unusual thing in common that they shared for many years; Like her sister and her cousin, Mrs. Lillian Faulkner was a Faulkner who married a Faulkner. Her late husband, William Joseph Green Faulkner, was not, however, kin to the husband of the other two who died recently. Mrs. Bessie Faulkner's late husband, Howard V. Faulkner Sr. was the brother of Arthur S. Faulkner, Mrs. Hettie Faulkner's late husband. Mrs. Lillian Faulkner was the oldest of 13 children and had two surviving sisters. They are Mrs. Rozzelle Robertson, 81, of Henderson and Mrs. Mary F Hoyle of Burlington, who is over 90. Prior to entering the nursing home in 1981, Mrs. Faulkner had been a homemaker who reared eight children, six of whom survive in the Faulkner Town Community. She was the mother of retired National Guard Warrant Officer Durwood Faulkner who died last uear. She was a charter member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements will be announced Wednesday by J M White Funeral Home.
