DURHAM MORNING HERALD - 03-21-1948, P. 15

  HENDERSON - March 20 - Cassie O. King, 75, died at 7:30 p.m. at his home, 124 
Carolina Avenue, Henderson, after a long illness.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Wilkerson King, five daughters, Mrs. 
T.A. Christmas of Durham; Mrs. W.D. Taylor of Rocky Mount; Mrs. Robert A. Parks 
of Henderson; Mrs. D.B. Williams of Oxford; Mrs. C.C. Cheatham of Wilmington; two 
sons, C.O. King, Jr. of Wilson; Kenneth W. King of Henderson; and five 
grandchildren.

  The funeral will be Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the home. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
