War Pension Files Lewis Bledsoe married December 5, 1780, in Wake County North Carolina. Miss Fanney MOORE who was born February 6, 1766. The place of her birth and names of parents were not stated. Their marriage bond was filed in the County Clerk’s Office of Granville County, North Carolina. Fanney BLEDSOE was allowed pension on account of the Revolutionary War service of her husband, Lewis, on her application executed November 8, 1836, while residing in Granville County, North Carolina, and where she was still living in 1852.
