George Aycock died 17 April 1900 and is buried beside his wife Holland Annie Rose in Rowland/Aycock Cemetery, Wake Co. NC. George G. Aycock was the son of William Aycock, born abt. 1800 in Warren Co. NC and died abt. 1853 in Warren Co. William Aycock's wife was Nancy Ann Pattillo born abt. 1805 in Brunswick, VA and died after 1880 in Franklin Co. NC. William Aycock was the son of Abner Aycock and Sarah Harper of Warren Co. NC. Abner Aycock was an American Revolutionary War Patriot 1776. Leonard Augusta Aycock was born 24 June 1878 in Bentonville District, Johnston Co., NC. He moved to Wake Co., NC with his parents George G. Aycock and Holland Annie Rose in the 1890s. Leonard Aycock married Lena Elizabeth Pleasants of Wake Co. NC 15 December 1908. They raised their daughter Margaret Elizabeth Aycock Batts in Raleigh, NC. Leonard Aycock died 12 November 1965 and is buried beside his wife Lena in Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Wake Co., Raleigh, North Carolina. LEONARD A.
