This cemetery is on Woodland Church Road in northern Wake County almost on the Granville County line. From Raleigh, drive north on US1 (Capitol Blvd) to Wake Forest. After crossing NC 98, drive about 1 mile to the stop light at Purnell Road. Turn left on Purnell and drive 1.5 miles to Bud Smith Road. Turn right on Bud Smith and drive about 1 mile to Woodland Church. Turn left onto Woodland Church Road, the cemetery is about .1 mile on the left side of the road before reaching Camp Kanata Road. This cemetery is on the edge of the road in a field. It is no longer in use but cared for. Looking on down Woodland Church from the cemetery, you can see the Granville County sign on the far side of the intersection with Camp Kanata Road, and across from the intersection is Woodland Baptist Church. The path next to the cemetery leads to the old Allen farm house which is no longer lived in. Although these are not my Allens, we do have family buried in the church cemetery.
