Wake County, NC - Banks Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Banks Cemetery Recorded by Shirley Olson, 3/19/2001 - updated April 9, 2006 Location: Hwy. # 401 at the intersection of 1010 Rd., Wake County, N.C., known locally as McCuller's Crossroads. Directions: From Raleigh, South on Hwy. 401 to the 1010 Rd. Intersection. On your left on the northeast corner there is a McDonald's and a BP gas station in front of a Food Lion. A monument on the grassy area fronting on Hwy. 401 marks the burial ground. Parking in the shopping center near the front makes the graves easily accessible. Banks, Kittie, b. 30 Mar 1882, d. 18 Apr. 1883 Banks, Almira McCullers, b. 22 Nov 1841, d. 26 Sep 1891 Banks, J.G. [James Gerard], b. 12 Jun 1838, d. 19 Oct. 1913 ***** Update April 9, 2006 These graves have been relocated to: Cross Roads Presbyterian Church Cemetery 3302 N. NC 119 Mebane, NC 27302 There are other members of their family buried there.
