Wake County, NC - Dupree Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~ Dupree Cemetery Bill Love Rd. Panther Branch Twp., Wake Co., NC N 35° 32’ 20” W 78° 40’ 52.4” Directions: From the intersection of 401 South and Hwy. 55/42 East, Fuquay Varina, take Hwy. 55 East to a quick left onto Hwy. 42 East and go 5.2 miles to the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Rd. Turn right onto Mt. Pleasant Rd. (SR 2740) and go .6 mile to a fork in the road. Take Mt. Pleasant Church Rd. (SR 2742) for 1.8 miles to Bill Love Rd., a dirt road which intersects from the left. Follow Bill Love Rd. 1.1 miles to the cemetery located in a sandy field on the left side of the road. The road dead ends a short way beyond the cemetery, in Johnston County. Located on private property, it is in poor condition. The block wall is crumbling and it is weedy. It is paved inside the wall, covering the graves. The cemetery is about 40’ by 40’. I walked the cemetery and recorded all that was readable.
