Wake County, NC - Hilliard Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~ March 28, 2003 Hilliard Cemetery, Wilmington Rd., Garner, St. Mary's Twp., WAKE Co., NC N 35°43'22" W 78°35'35" Dir.: From the intersection of Hwy. 70E and Jones Sausage Rd.(SR 2547), across from White Oak Shopping Center, go north on Jones Sausage Rd. about 1.5 mi., to a left onto Wilmington Rd., a gravel road. Go .5 mi. to the cemetery on your right. A grassy road leads to the cemetery which is visible from the road. PLEASE do not confuse this road with Wilmington St., Raleigh, a major throughfare. Description: This is a private family burial ground which was still in use in 2000. It is neat and accessible. Descendants of the family still live on Wilmington Rd.
