Wake County, NC - 0ld Holly Springs-Apex Road Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 0ld Holly Springs-Apex Road Cemetery Wake County, North Carolina Lat: 35°40'11"N, Lon: 78°51'35"W Contributed by Shirley Olson, May 16, 2002 [glolson@attglobal.net]. Total records = 9. From the intersection of Main St. (Hwy. 55) and Holly Springs Rd., (SR.1152), in Holly Springs, turn west at the traffic light onto New Hill Rd. (SR. 1152) a continuation of Holly Springs Rd., but with a name change. Drive about 1 1/2 miles to where the road divides, bear right onto Holly Springs-Apex Rd. (SR. 1153) and go about 3/4 of a mile to the cemetery on the right side of the road. There is a little driveway to pull in off the road. Off the beaten path for most Wake County dwellers, this little private cemetery is located on Old Holly Springs-Apex Rd., (SR. 1153), near a landfill and near the Wake County Shooting Range. Of late much development has occurred in this once sleepy area. A predominantly African American neighborhood is in the midst of dramatic change. I recorded this cemetery on 13 May 2002. I do not know the name of this cemetery so have given it the name of the road it is on. Holland, Mary C., b. 27 Oct 1830, d. 26 Jul 1917, w. of C.A. Holland Holland, C.
